Our Team

Brett Robinson MD

Brett is a board-certified family physician and has been practicing medicine since 1992. He values the years he spent working in migrant clinics and urban Indian clinics in Oregon and Nebraska. He has learned a lot about the type of service he wants to provide, and opened Salem Family Medicine in 2003. Having a solo practice allows him to provide individualized attention to those who choose to see him for their primary health care needs. It also allows him to customize the practice to better meet the needs of those he serves.

Brett enjoys spending time with his family. Together they like to go canoeing, hiking and beachcombing. He also enjoys photography, raising orchids, and genealogy. He has discovered that his great-great-great grandmother practiced medicine in the Willamette Valley and delivered many pioneer babies in the area around Molalla.

Rachel Joya CMA

Rachel is a certified medical assistant. She primarily works in the back office, but also assists elsewhere when needed. She speaks fluent Spanish.

Ruth Gonzalez

Ruth, our receptionist, shares responsibility for our front office and billing. Ruth is also fluent in Spanish.
